The terms covering this website, our quotations and the work we carry out.
1. About us

2. Use of this website
The content of this website is provided for general information about our services. It does not constitute a quotation, a survey or professional advice for any specific property. We take care to keep it accurate but do not warrant that it is complete or current at all times.
3. Enquiries and quotations
Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract. Quotations are prepared individually for each project following a site visit, because scope, ground conditions, access and materials vary considerably. A quotation becomes binding only once it is accepted in writing by you and confirmed by us.
4. Variations
If the work required changes once the job is under way, for example where excavation exposes ground conditions different to those reasonably anticipated, we will tell you, explain the effect on price and programme, and agree the change with you before proceeding.
5. Insurance
We hold public liability insurance up to £2,000,000 and employers’ liability insurance up to £10,000,000. Evidence of cover is available on request.
6. Guarantee and warranty
Our work is covered by a 2-year workmanship guarantee. A 10-year warranty is available on request. Guarantees cover our workmanship and do not extend to damage caused by third parties, alteration of our work by others, lack of reasonable maintenance, ground movement outside our scope of works, or fair wear and tear.
7. Access and site conditions
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the working area for the duration of the project and to make us aware of any services, drainage runs or structures you know of that may be affected.
8. Payment
Payment terms are set out in the quotation or contract agreed for your project. No payment terms other than those stated in your own written quotation apply.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our liability in relation to a project is limited to the value of the works contracted.
10. Governing law
These terms and any contract for works are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
